Tanya sighed and shook her head, pressing a hand to her temple.
"You're right. I'm sorry. I won't lie to you guys, this is very stressful." She rolled her eyes. "If you guys want to keep mocking superhero stereotypes, be my guest."

"Glad that's settled," Ben muttered. He closed his eyes and rested.
Allyce felt the tension in the air relax, but she didn't. She picked a spot in the shadows of the plane and faded away.

"Soda, anyone?" Felicia asked to break the silence, leaning over to the small refrigerator and opening it. She offered Alex a Coke, and the stolid boy accepted it with a nod of thanks. A small smile flickered across the technopath's features and she glanced around at the others, lifting her eyebrows in silent question.

Allyce shook her head, but obviously nobody knew.
Ben blinked his eyes open, wiping away the sleepiness. "Sure," He said quietly, reaching out for a Dr. Pepper.

Eden shrugged. "Over here, please," she said, politely, though, it left a bad taste in her mouth. She wasn't used to being so kind.
"Any water?" asked Linkin from his seat.

"What kind?" Felicia asked Eden. "Coke?" She withdrew a water bottle from the fridge and tossed it over to Linkin. She pulled out a Dr. Pepper for herself and opened it, taking a sip before setting it in the cup holder and waiting patiently and politely for Eden's answer.

Ben gulped down his soda, crushing the can when he finished. He tossed away the can and settled for a bottled water.

Felicia lifted a Dr. Pepper out of the fridge and held it out to Eden with a friendly smile. Tanya sipped her Coke, watching the others silently.

Ben smiled as he drank from the bottle of water. He felt the water rush through him, pouring energy into his body. He felt his skin moisten, and become a faint blue color. "This is some good water," he commented.
Allyce watched Ben's skin change from a deep tan to a faint blue with slight amazment

Tanya just shook her head with some amusement. She leaned back in her seat and gazed out the window, her amber eyes reflective. She checked her watch; not much longer until they landed in New York. She sighed quietly and shut her eyes, dozing a bit.

Allyce forced herself out of the shadows, and into the light. She needed to be calm; to manage her powers. She couldn't deal with something going wrong again.
Ben took a deep breath in, and his skin returned to a normal color, although his eyes seemed to glow bright blue.

Eden tapped her fingers on her chair and suddenly noticed that the cushion on the arm rest was blackening. Quickly, she pulled her hand back and calmed herself down.
Linkin grinned at Ben. "Looks like someone is a lava lamp," he joked.

"Guys, when I said no magic in S.H.I.E.L.D. headquarters, that applies to on their private jet, as well," Tanya deadpanned without opening her eyes. "Luckily for you, we're almost there." Right on cue, a voice came in over the intercom, telling them in a cool tone to sit down and buckle their seatbelts because they were about to begin the descent.
