Alex lifted an eyebrow at Ben's sarcasm.
"You probably don't even know my name," he deadpanned. "You're very funny, you know." His own voice was tinted with dry sarcasm.
"Well, I suggest you work on mastering your abilities, then," Tanya remarked, lifting an eyebrow at Allyce. "For that matter, I can probably help you." (I'm changing Tanya's powers here, so...) "I had difficulty controlling my own powers for a while," she admitted. "You just have to get the hang of it. And you two, stop fighting," she added, frowning disapprovingly at Ben and Alex.

"Alex," Ben mumbled him name quietly. He felt like he knew Alex from somewhere.
Allyce raised an eyebrow. "Well, Ben's tried, and he has water control... but you can try if you want. I've learned from trial and error," she replied to Tanya.

"Later," Tanya decided, turning away. "C'mon, we have to go catch our plane now." She lifted an eyebrow at Alex, who moved away from Ben. The Phoenix nodded, pleased, and gestured for them to follow her. She walked over to a door in the back of the room and opened it, leading them down some stairs and finally outside, where an airplane was idling in wait. Director Fury stood nearby, watching them with an inscrutable expression. "You guys go ahead and get on the plane, I'm going to go speak with Director Fury," Tanya directed, waving them on. Felicia obediently strode over to the plane and walked inside, Alex on her heels.

"Wow, a private airplane?" Felicia lifted her eyebrows as she slid into a comfy seat. There were multiple armchairs- bolted into the floor, of course- arranged in a circle around a table. Windows lined the side of the airplane, allowing plenty of light in. A mini refrigerator rested on the table.
"Are you really that surprised?" Alex commented, settling into one of the armchairs.

"Comfy, isn't it?" Tanya stepped into the airplane after her private conversation with Nick Fury. She shut the door once everyone was inside and sat down next to Alex with only a nod to acknowledge his presence. She was rewarded by the faint flicker of a smirk as she turned away again to face the others. "It's only for a couple hours, anyway, but I daresay we'll need this plane again soon after we recruit Sir Spiderman." She smiled wryly.

Alyce raised a brow, then shook her head. The plane reminded her of her parents in Wisconsin.
"Nice plane, " Ben commented. He glanced around, then settled for a spot near the back on a cushy leather chair.

"So what do we know about this Peter Parker?" Felicia asked, turning wide, curious eyes on Tanya. The redhead tilted her head, pursing her lips thoughtfully.
"Well, he just graduated high school, so I've heard," she commented. "Last year, I think. He has known connections with a Dr. Connors, who, I believe, has worked with S.H.I.E.L.D. in the past. And, I'm sure, that connection has something to do with the reason why Parker has the powers of a spider." The corner of her mouth twitched in grim amusement.

Eden settled in a chair and tapped her fingers on the arm rest. She looked around the plane, amazed by the sight.
Linkin just took a seat next to Eden and looked around, much like Eden had, but he didn't say much about it. To be honest, he'd never been on a plane this luxurious, despite being rich.

"So, we are taking spidey," Ben said. His voice changed into a mock, high- pitched girl voice, "The dreamy hot guy who graduated from high school! And he is a super hero who's going to help us save the world!" He laughed at himself, then returned to seriousness.
Alyce couldn't help but grin at Ben. "Maybe not the world, but definitely the Avengers."

Tanya rolled her eyes, not appearing amused in the least.
"You're so funny," she told Ben dryly. "I can't wait to see what this Parker kid thinks of your objective opinion once we meet him." Her tone was layered with thick sarcasm.
"We don't even know what he looks like," Felicia pointed out, but she, too, was smiling a bit.
