Hey guys! So, at the insistence of my friends over on Howrse, I am making a short story contest. I will close it on August 1st, at which point there will be a poll for the best story. The reward will be revealed after the decision has been made 
So, some rules:
1. One story per person.
2. It must be under 2,000 words.
3. Do not bash another person's story.
4. Keep it appropriate.
5. Create a thread under the 'Short Story Contest' section and post your story there.
6. It must be your own work. However, short fanfictions are okay, assuming everyone knows what the fanfic is based on.
7. The contest is closed August 1st. So, good luck, and have fun!
