Here are just a few general rules for use around these forums, the private messages, and the chat room:
1. Be polite to everyone on these forums. Treat everyone like equals. It's not that hard.
2. Grammar is an issue that many people struggle with, but please, attempt to use good grammar and capitalization.
3. Common sense. Don't do anything stupid.
4. Avoid overusing bold, italics, thestrike feature, or the underline feature. I know some of you aren't quite used to being able to use these, but still, I don't want any roleplaying in bold or [glow=red,2,300]glowing text.[/glow] (Seriously, a "glow" effect? That's insane!) Colors are allowed as long as they are readable (I will use blue, just a warning) and not too distracting. (This is NOT to say that you can't use italics in your roleplaying. Please, feel free to use them. Perhaps I'll create a guide on using italics...)
5. Activity. I would appreciate it if you guys were active. I've created sites before that fell through, and I worked really hard on this one, so please- stay. xD
6. Ratings. I will reiterate this on the roleplaying rules. Be aware of the rating on the roleplays- G is for general roleplayers, but T for 'teen' is slightly more mature. (No 'M' ratings, sorry guys ). Anything that might have certain content will have a 'T' in front of it.
7. Comfort level. If anything here on this website makes you at all uncomfortable, let me know. I will try my best to make this a fun, friendly, safe environment for everyone.
8. We have a no discrimination policy. To many of you, discrimination applies to race, but, obviously, we can't see each other, so that won't be an issue. What I mean is, don't be rude to somebody just because of political/sexual/religious views. Actually, I don't even want these discussed here. If you have a problem with someone, send me a message and I'll deal with it.
